Frances Lee Anderson, 91, of Bradley passed away July 19, 2014, at the Manor Care Health Services in Kankakee.

She was born April 25, 1923, in Kankakee the daughter of Daniel and Bertha (Jaseau) Britt.

Frances married Kenneth Anderson who died in 1987. Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker graduating from Herscher High School and was a longtime member of St. John United Church of Christ in Kankakee, a member of the Kankakee American Legion Post 85, and the Bradley VFW.

She enjoyed sewing, reading, crossword puzzles in the Kankakee Daily Journal, loved her computer games and playing cards.

Frances is survived by her children: Kenneth (JoAnn) Anderson of Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin, Richard (Nancy) Anderson of Scottsdale, Arizona, Kathleen (Larry) Lambert of Winter Haven, Florida, and Darlene (Carl) Nesbitt of Kankakee; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews as well as a partner Palmer Kloster of Kankakee.

Preceding her in death are her parents, husband, four brothers: John, Earl, Larry, and Ray, and a grandchild Jamie Shawn Anderson.

A time for family and friends to gather was held at the Kankakee Chapel of the Schreffler Life Story Funeral Homes, Wednesday, July 23, 2014, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and a funeral service Thursday, July 24, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John United Church of Christ in Kankakee.
Burial was in the Kankakee Memorial Gardens in Kankakee.
