She graduated from Cache Valley High in 1950 at the top of her class, and attended Utah State University.
She was married to Dennis K. Allen, for nearly 60 years, whose death preceded hers in 2011.
She was an accomplished pianist and taught music lessons to hundreds of students for over 30 years. She was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and loved sharing music, coordinating activities, and serving others. She loved traveling with Dennis in their later years. They made their home in Chico, CA for 50 years but enjoyed their second home in Logan, UT during the summers to be near new and old friends.
She is survived by one sister as well as three children; and ten grandchildren.
