Mrs. Martha Jane Barr, aged 72 years, wife of William Barr, died this morning at the family home five miles east of Houstonia. She had been ill with pneumonia a week.
She is survived by her husband and two sons, Ralph Barr and Clarence Barr, both of the home address, one brother and five sisters. Mrs. Barr, whose maiden name was Martha Jane Case, had been a resident of this county for almost 45 years. Funeral services will be held at the Hopewell Church Wednesday morning, Rev. John Maxwell to officiate.
