Mrs. Elizabeth K. Sweet was the daughter of the late Walter and Hazel (Souers) Keyser. She worked for GE for 20 years as a secretary. Mrs. Sweet was a member of Scotia United Methodist Church and its Apprentice and Quester groups. She was a member of the Glenville Senior Citizens Center and a longtime member of the Scotia-Glenville PTA. During 1970 to 1977, she was Blood Chairman for the American Red Cross and was recognized for her outstanding leadership. She was a member of the Business Girls Club of the YWCA and the GE Women's Club. She was also a volunteer at Ellis Hospital Seniority Office. Mrs. Sweet was predeceased by her husband, Edward F. Sweet, on September 30, 1999. She is survived by two sons (Paul now deceased); a granddaughter and a brother, Burr Keyser of West Fulton, NY (now deceased). She was also predeceased by two sisters; and five brothers.
