Mrs. Christine Mitchell Alexander, 83, widow of Ray H. Alexander of R.D. 1, Union Springs, NY., died Tuesday, June 21, 1983, in Auburn Memorial Hospital following a long illness. Mrs. Alexander was born in Southern Cayuga County and has lived here all of her life. She was a member of the Scipioville Presbyterian Church and had been a 4H leader for over 25 years. She is survived by: one son, Harold E. Alexander of Union Springs; two daughters, Mrs. James (Shirley)Sullivan and Mrs. Carl (Marilyn) John, both of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; one brother, Wilson S. Mitchell, St. of Ithaca. NY.; two sisters. Mrs. Clifford(Mary) White of Union Springs and Mrs. Ruth Webster of Auburn. NY.; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to attend Memorial Services Monday, June 27, 1983, at 2 p.m. in the Scipioville Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Richard F. Kuenkler, the pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Town of Ledyard.N.Y. There will be no calling hours. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Memorial Fund of the Scipioville Presbyterian Church or to the Instant Aide Ambulance Fund. Poplar Ridge. NY., in Mrs. Alexander's memory. The Shakelton Funeral Home, Aurora. N.Y. is in charge of arrangements.
