Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Cox Funeral Home with Charlie Cox officiating. Arrangements are by Cox Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Bridget was born Sept. 17, 1969, in Amarillo to Gary and Linda Rankins. She was raised in Amarillo and graduated from Tascosa High School in 1987. She went on to receive her associate's degree in business from Amarillo College.

Bridget married Mike Hare on July 5, 2003, in Amarillo. She devoted her life to loving and caring for animals, especially her chickens, horses and her beloved dogs, Annabelle, Max, Jasmine and Tara. Sometimes Bridget was known to be stubborn and always persistent in her ideas, a characteristic that will be remembered with a smile by her friends and family. She also will be remembered as being sweet and compassionate to all, for being unselfish and generous and always demonstrating unconditional love to all who she knew. Above all, Bridget was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister and friend.

Survivors include her husband, Mike Hare of Panhandle; her parents, Gary and Linda Rankins; a daughter, Destiney Carlile of Amarillo; a son, Stetson Williams of Amarillo; stepchildren, Lauran and Johnathan Hare of Seaford, Del.; a sister, Misty Lower and husband Scott of Amarillo; a granddaughter, Liberty Renee Lynch of Amarillo; her grandmother, Mary Rankins of McClain; father- and mother-in-law, Lloyd and Jane Hare of Panhandle; brothers- and
sisters-in-law, Pete and Mary Hare of Panhandle, Maryann Douglas of Panhandle, Tommy and Lucinda Russell of Bushland, Jay and Lorrie Baze of Panhandle, and Alan Woods of Katy; and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the SPCA of the Panhandle Humane Society.
