Ms. Jean Trentham, age 66, passed away peacefully, Thursday, May 30, 2013, surrounded by family at the Parkwest Medical Center, Knoxville, Tennessee.
She was born September 18, 1946 in Dayton, Tennessee. Jean was a longtime educator with Roane State Community College at both the Harriman and Oak Ridge Campuses.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend E.C. Trentham and Willa Mae Trentham; sisters, Judith Ann Trentham, Helen Gross, Arlene Christopher, Betty Jo Armes, and Ruth Matherly.
Survivors include: Sister and Caregiver: Patsy Letner & husband, Leonard of Rockwood, TN.
Sister: Rubye Reagan of Knoxville, TN.
Close Friend: Cindy Van Sandt, A host of nieces and nephews.
And her precious fur babies, Mixta and Sophie.
The family will receive friends Monday, June 3, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. unit 1:00 p.m. at the Evans Mortuary. Funeral services will follow on Monday, June 3, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Evans Mortuary with Rev. Benny Matherly officiating.
Graveside services and interment will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.
