Lawrence L. Toalston, 73, of 463 Lincoln Avenue NW, Carrollton, a retired East Township farmer, died April 15 at his home after an illness of three months. Mr. Toalston had resided here 10 years and was a member of Carrollton Church of Christ. He was born in East Township on March 23, 1886, a son of the late Joseph and AreNettie (Shaw) Toalston and was a life resident of the county. Mr. Toalston was married to Olive L. Cummings on January 27, 1910.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Melvin and Earl of Carrollton; a brother, Howard of East Carrollton; two sisters, Mrs. Harry Myers of route 2, Salineville and Mrs. Eugene Williard of route 1, Kensington; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Allmon Funeral Home with rev. H. H. Hoover officiating, assisted by rev. F. W. Bush. Burial will be in Westview Cemetery.
