McCulley, Ludene A.

Ludene A. McCulley, age 68, of Clarks Mills, died Friday, May 30, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.

Ludene was born on January 23, 1946 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late John and Marcella (Swetlik) Lemberger. Ludene was raised on her parent's farm in Whitelaw and graduated from Valders High School in 1964. She married Michael C. McCulley on September 18, 1965 at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Whitelaw. She farmed with her husband for 45 years on the family farm in Clarks Mills. She was a hard worker and enjoyed raising healthy calves, cooking family dinners, going to her sons and grandchildren's sporting events, going on excursions with her sisters and taking care of her flowers. Ludene always put other people first. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of Clarks Mills and Christian Mothers.

Survivors include her husband: Mike C. McCulley, Clarks Mills; three sons and daughters-in-law: Mark (Gail) McCulley, Clarks Mills; Dale (Karyn) McCulley, Menomonie, MI; Brian (Debbie) McCulley, Clarks Mils; eight grandchildren: Trevor McCulley, Clarks Mills; Austin McCulley and special friend Brittany McCarthy, Clarks Mills; Stetson McCulley and special friend Alyx Waniger, Clarks Mills; Brittany McCulley and special friend Sarah Lasky, AZ; Stephanie McCulley and her special friend Randy Russell, Two Rivers; Brandon McCulley, Kyle McCulley and Mariah McCulley all of Clarks Mills; brothers and sisters: Pat (Bob) Loritz, Manitowoc; John and Diane Lemberger, IL; Adele (Neil Nelson) Schroeder, Manitowoc; Mary (Dennis) Gruenewald, ID; Cindy (Marty) Corrigan, IA; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Pat (Gary) Clark, Two Rivers; Barney (Dorothy) McCulley, Whitelaw; Peg (Al) Otto, Platteville; Jane "Peach" (Joe) Panosh, Manitowoc; Marion Lemberger; daughter-in-law: Robin Gordon; special family friend: Andy Shimek, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Ben and Beatrice McCulley; her Godparents: Victor and Martha Opichka.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 6, 2014 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 15 South County Road J, Clarks Mills. Rev. Richard Klingeisen will celebrate the Mass of Christian burial. Burial will follow at the parish cemetery. Relatives and friends may call at the church on Thursday June 5, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A parish prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. The Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home of Kellnersville is assisting the McCulley family with funeral arrangements.

A kind and gentle heart stopped beating… Mom will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
