Johnny Rubin Scroggins, 64, of Chattanooga went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, June 4, 2014.
He was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and was of the Church of God faith. He was previously employed with Miller Industries as a Welder and an Assembler for more than 40 years and enjoyed working in the yard and going to Flea Market's.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
Survivors include his loving wife & friend of more than 39 years, Arlene Goins Scroggins of Chattanooga, TN; children, Ricky & (Tisha) Moore of Chickamauga, GA, John Scroggins of Chattanooga, TN and Lori Scroggins of Fort Oglethorpe, GA; brother & sister-in-law, L.C. & (Tina) English of Rossville, GA; sisters & brother-in-law, Leola Corley of Red Bank, TN, Patricia Sutherland of East Ridge, TN, Martha Ladd of Rossville, GA and Karen & (Ed) Morris of Florida; several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, June 7, 2014 in the Fort Oglethorpe Chapel with Minister Bennie Mills officiating.
Burial will follow in the Tennessee-Georgia Memorial Park.
