Edwin C. "Bud" Abbott, age 87, of Lincoln, died Saturday, May 31, 2014. Born in Unityville, S.D. Edwin enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and served during World War II and the Korean War. Upon his return to the United States he joined the U.S. Air Force and served until his retirement in 1974.
Edwin is survived by his wife, Dorothy "Kay'; sons, Kent (Mardi) of Lincoln and Jeffrey (Mary Ann) of Overland Park, Kan.; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
