Services for Leon R. Schutte, 70, of 1310 29th St., Bettendorf, will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, Bettendorf. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation is 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Weerts/Hill & Fredericks Funeral Home, Bettendorf, where a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m.
Mr. Schutte died Sunday at his home.
He retired in 1978 from Davenport Alcoa Works, where he had been employed for 31 years.
Mr. Schutte married Helen Neuhaus in 1937 in Aledo, Ill. She died in 1983.
He was a member of the church; Alcoa Retirees; Moose Lodge, Davenport; and CCC during the Depression.
Survivors include a daughter, Kathleen Rose, Loveland, Colo.; sons, Gerald, Bettendorf, and William, Davenport; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Kathleen Clemens, Long Beach, Calif.
