Eileen, a resident of Hernandez, was predeceased by her husband Gilberto Martinez; daughter Heather Angelie Martinez; parents Albert and Ila Ross Jensen; brother Dennis Jensen.

Eileen was survived by her sons: Chris G. Martinez (wife Tami) and Enrique Martinez; and grandchildren: Ky, Saya, and Nash Martinez.

Eileen was devoted and very strong to her faith, she loved and cared for many people that she considered her adoptive children. A passion of hers was quilting that she did for many years. She enjoyed writing poetry and loved her pets dearly. She was well known throughout Northern New Mexico as a visiting nurse for many years. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Public visitation and service were on 4 June 2014 at the Latter Day Saints in Española. Burial was on 5 June 2014 at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers: Richard Espinoza, Rocky Espinoza, Luis Peña, Michael Salazar, Mario Garcia, Everette Rael, Randy Perraglio, and Robert Tomlinson.
