Mrs. Fern Neal, 79, of 862 Madison St., Eldorado died at 1:45 p.m. on Friday, March 5, 1999 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado.
She was the widow of Clifford Neal. She was born on May 8, 1919 in Eldorado, to the late John and Nora (Haley) Roberts.
Mrs. Neal was a member of Star General Baptist Church near Eldorado.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Harold "Hap" and Pam Neal of Eldorado, Larry and Sharon Neal of Glendale Heights; a daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Don Kendall of Eldorado; a brother, John Roberts of Clearwater, Fla.; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister and five brothers.
Services were held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Colonial Terrace Funeral Home Chapel in Eldorado, where visitation was held after 1 p.m. Sunday until service time. The Rev. Randy Plunkett officiated and burial was in Wolf Creek Cemetery at Eldorado.
