He was a past president of the Benton City Chamber of Commerce; a member of the Methodist Church; past noble grand of the Odd Fellows; a member of the Rebekahs and was known as a square dance called for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia; one daughter, two sons, his mother, four grandchildren; a brother, Lawrence R Kendall of Benton City and a sister, Mrs. Merle Repp of Stevensville, Mich.
