Donnie Ray Dillinger, 78, departed this life Sunday June 1, 2014 at Cameron Glen Healthcare and Rehab in Reston, VA.
He was born April 18, 1936, in Viola, Arkansas, son of the late John William Dillinger and Creecy Jane Rand Dillinger.
Donnie married was married around 1958- 1960 to Dess Taylor. Phyllis and Jack Rory Howell Dillinger where born of that marriage.
Donnie also married Margaret Bledsoe on October 12, 1969 and they enjoyed 45 years together.
He was in law enforcement and served as a deputy sheriff for many years. He also had a history in sales and was a former business owner in Iron City, TN. He loved looking for arrowheads and enjoyed spending times with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Tommy Dillinger and Cody Dillinger and two sisters, Shirley Moser and Bonnie Hill.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Dillinger of the home, two sons, Jack Rory Dillinger (Donna) of Jonesboro, AR and Michael Jason Dillinger (Swati) of Fairfax, VA, one daughter, Phyllis Williams (Michael) of Jonesboro, one brother, Cohnon Dillinger (Carol) of Abernathy, Texas, two sisters, Johnece Choate of Mountain Home, and Sue Taylor of Gretna, LA, 10 grand-children, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grand-children.
Interment was in Farm Hill Cemetery near Harrisburg. Arrangements were by Greg Weston funeral home.
