Mrs. Gertrude B. Laine of 48 Genesee St., Hornell, died Wednesday afternoon, March 6, at Bethesda Hospital in North Hornell where she had been a patient for nine days. She was 75 years old.
A native of Jackson, Mich., Mrs. Laine spent her early life in Jasper and Canisteo. She had bee a resident of Hornell since 1917. She and her husband celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary last Feb. 7th.
Surviving with her husband are one son, Dr. Harold B. Laine of Narberth, Pa.; two grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at the Crandall & Crandall Funeral Home in Hornell at 2 p.m., Saturday. The Rev. Lloyd W. Schell of the First Presbyterian Church officiated, and burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Canisteo.
