Hilda Edith Leak, 84, of Carmichael died Aug. 18, 2000, at Mercy San Juan Hospital in Carmichael. Born in San Francisco, she was a Yuba-Sutter resident for seven years. She was a retired after 23 years as a book binder with the State of California.
Survivors include one daughter, Janice Farros of Carmichael; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell F. Leak.
Services: A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Ullrey Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Howard Mosley officiating.
Private inurnment will be in Sutter Cemetery.
