Mr. Mose Avery Jr., aged 84, of Trenton, Tennessee, passed away Friday December 31, 2010. Also born (March 17, 1926) in Trenton, Mr. Avery was son of the late Pearl (Dance) Avery. He was employed by Bancorp South Bank for forty years and was a member of First Baptist Church of Trenton.
Mr. Avery was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, John Avery and Booker Lee Avery.
Mr. Avery was survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Charline J. Avery; two daughters, Marian (Avery) Johnson of Trenton and Monica "Baby Doll" (Avery) Harris of Humboldt, Tennessee; two grandsons, David Johnson and Avery Harris Humboldt; one son-in-law, Tim Harris; one sister, Betty (Avery) Adams (and husband Charles) of Cleveland, Ohio; one brother, Aubrey Avery (and wife Polly) of Huntsville, Alabama; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Visitation was Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at the Baskerville Funeral Chapel on 4th Street in Trenton. Funeral services were the next day, January 6th, at the First Baptist Church on Gibson Road in Trenton.
