Obituary: Bernice Marjorie Adams June 6, 1913 ~ May 18, 2011

Bernice Marjorie Adams was born to parents Floyd and Jeanette (Steadman) Greer on June 6, 1913, in Atchison, Kansas. She moved with her parents to the Portland, Or area in 1953.

She exchanged wedding vows with Bernard Burton Adams in 1935.

Bernice worked as a drapery department manager; at Montgomery Ward for 16 years; and at J.C. Penney for 20 years. She later also worked for Hardwood World.

(She is predeceased by her loving husband Bernard (1989), parents Floyd and Jeanette (Steadman) Greer; and a daughter Glenna Adams Medak (2000).

Survivors include her daughter, Donna E. Adams Johnson (Michael); and sons George E. Adams and Paul B. Adams (Linda);a son-in-law, Douglas Medak; 12 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service followed by a committal will take place at 10am, Friday, May 27th, in Skyline Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home Chapel in Portland Remembrances of may be made to Mt. Hood Hospice.
