Cora Ella was daughter of Andrew Jackson Metcalf and Molly Hutto of La. Was born in Coryell co Tex. and her name is a play on words of that co. She was Grand daughter of Thomas J. Metcalf and Elizabeth (Unknown)of Tenn. Ella had a large family, but died young was wife of Robert T. Brown and is buried next to him. My mother at age 8 became house keeper and cook, for her father and 2 brothers,as all the older kids were gone from home.
