Betty Ruth Reynolds, 89, of Parkersburg, WV, departed this life on Saturday, May 31, 2014, at Ohio Valley Healthcare of Parkersburg.
Betty was born August 15, 1924 in Wood County the daughter of the late Raymond E. and Ruth Ruble. She worked for over 50 years at Dudley's Florist of Parkersburg as a flower arranger.
Betty was a graduate of Parkersburg High School with the class of 1942, a member of Eastern Star of Parkersburg #14, Ladies Oriental Shrine Hathor Court #3, and White Shrine Bethany Shrine #4, and was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church of Parkersburg. She loved people, cooking, and animals dearly especially her little dog Miss Molly.
She is survived by her niece, Wilma Reusser (Fred) of Parkersburg, along with several other nieces & nephews; cousin, Tom Morris (Ilene) of Port Charlotte, FL, and her dear friends, Karen Canary, Joe & Susie Banks and Quincy Banks, Linda Reed all of Parkersburg and Ron & Vera Cowan of NC.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Marion Reynolds.
Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery of Parkersburg.
