Lance Corporal Jonathan K. Price, USMC, was killed as a result of enemy small arms while on guard duty in Ramadi, Iraq.
He enlisted in the Marines after high school last year. Prior to enlisting he was active in the Boy Scouts having achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. He was a devout Christian.
Price was due to return home next month and marry his fiance Bria. Their first child, Mattie, was due about that time also.
He will be greatly missed by his family, friends and the whole community.
