Bill Eugene Lane, age 74, of Bristol, TN, passed away Sunday, July 5, 2009 at Bristol Regional Medical Center. He was born August 4, 1934 in Bluff City, TN, a son of the late William "Bill" and Barbara Williams Lane. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Bowman Lane.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at 8:00 PM in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ed Davis officiating. The burial will be held Wednesday at 9:00 AM in Crumley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mike Lane, Ernest Lane, Tim Reeves, Donald Cordle, Jr., Johnny Miller and Wesley Burg.
