∼Karen E. Oglesbee, 76, of Marblehead, died Saturday, Aug. 22, 2015, in Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
She was born Sept. 11, 1938, in Port Clinton, the daughter of John and Lois (Holbrook) Feyedelem.
She married Edward Oglesbee, and he preceded her in death in 1998. Karen was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead. She enjoyed playing cards, listening to Yanni and following all of her family's sporting events.
Surviving are her sons, James Oglesbee of Marblehead, Jon (Julie) Oglesbee of Marblehead and Jeff (Michelle) Oglesbee of Allentown, Pa.; daughters, Laurie (Tony) Best of Marblehead and LeAnn (Jamie) Worley of Greenfield, Ind.; grandchildren, Cory Oglesbee, Aaron Oglesbee, Maggie Oglesbee, Elisa Oglesbee, Derek Oglesbee, Nicole Oglesbee, Whitney Best, Hayley Best, Cody Best, Grace Oglesbee, Ella Oglesbee, Cole Worley and Abby Worley; great-grandchildren, Grayson Oglesbee, Trevor Oglesbee and a future great-granddaughter; brother, Steven (Lori) Feyedelem of Marblehead; sisters, Janet Rosiar of Port Clinton, Linda Chapman of Marblehead, Marylynn (Richard) Mason of California and Susan (James) Gilliaum of South Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, John Feyedelem; and sisters, Laura Boss and JoAnn Boytim.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Monday, Aug. 24, at Neidecker, LeVeck & Crosser Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Peninsula Chapel, 7755 E. Harbor Road, Lakeside-Marblehead. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father James Brown at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marblehead. Interment will follow in Sackett Cemetery, Danbury Township.
