Clyde Richard Myers, of Hanover, departed this life for eternal rest January 17.

He was a son of the late Richard Israel and Romaine Evelyn Stengle Myers.

Mr. Myers was a member of the Mount Carmel Lutheran Church, Hanover, where he served on the church council. He was employed with Hanover Wire Cloth for 42 years, most recently as a supervisor, retiring in 2001. A lifelong farmer in Brodbecks and southern York County, Mr. Myers was an avid collector of John Deere and Farmall tractors and memorabilia. He was also a member of the Hanover Exchange Club.

He is survived by his second wife, Doris Mae Becker Myers and also surviving are two daughters, Dianne Louise Feeser of Mount Holly Springs and Deborah Elaine Hoffman of East Berlin; five stepsons, Rick Hemler, Mike Hemler, and Doug Hemler, all of Hanover, Jeff Hemler of Gettysburg and Chris Hemler of East Berlin; two grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren; and a nephew.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Marian Louise Luckenbaugh Myers, who departed this life July 7, 2001; one daughter, Dennise Carol Myers; one sister, Loretta Mae Myers, and one brother, Earl Myers.
