NEW LONDON RESIDENT DIES
Mrs. Elizabeth McNeil Passed Away Following An Extended Illness
New London, Ia, April 9 - Mrs. Elizabeth McNeil passed away at the home of her son, J.B. McNeil, six miles north of here, at 6 o'clock tonight following an illness of several weeks's duration.
She was born in Des Moines County, October 13, 1839, and was married to J.C. McNeil, September 26, 1860. Her husband preceded her in death.
She is survived by four children, Nancy, J.B., and G.W. of New London and Mrs. Amanda Traxler of Columbia, Mo.; two brothers, Henry and Carl Hanks of New London, two sisters, Mrs. Nancy Despain of New London and Mrs. John Carter of Clovis, Calif., in addition to eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will announced later.
