Rudolph G. Jurista, of Tunkhannock, PA, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2005 at home.

He was born on December 17, 1927, in Eatonville, PA, the son of the late Joseph Jurista and Anna Voitus Jurista.

He had worked as an operat8ing engineer, belonging to the Operating Engineers Int. Union No. 542, Wilkes Barre.

He enjoyed woodworking and finding things with his metal detector.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, the former Jane Wilsey; and a brother, Joseph Jurista; and two sisters, Mary Sekel and Louise Gruver.

He is survived by his companion of 24 years, of Tunkhannock; three daughters, three sons, five sisters, eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be Friday, February 11, 2005, at 9:00 a.m. from the Harding-Litwin Funeral Home, 123 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock, with Mass at 9:30 a.m. at the Church of the Nativity B.V.M.

Interment will be in Pieta Cemetery, Tunkhannock.
