RACHAEL H. ZARGER, 61, of 248 Hamilton Ave., Greencastle, died Friday, July 15 at 2:22 pm. in the Chambersburg Hospital. Death was attributed to a heart attack.
Born April 19, 1927 in Clay Hill, she was the daughter of Howard and Grace (Barnhart) Hollinger of Shady Grove.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Greencastle.
A 1945 graduate of Greencastle High School, she worked for a number of years at Landis Tool Co., Waynesboro, and Chambersburg Engineering Co., Chambersburg.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Edward S. Zarger, four sons: Lon E. Zarger, Greencastle; Tony H. Zarger, Rochester, Mich.; Curtis A. Zarger, Centerville, Va.; and Barry L. Zarger, at home. Also surviving are two
sisters, Isabelle Barnes and Lorraine Shaffer, both of Greencastle, and three grandchildren..
Services will be held tomorrow at 2 pm. in the Harold M. Zimmerman and Son Funeral Home, Greencastle, with the Rev. Golden A. Gaither officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
There will be no viewing. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association, 225 E. King St.,
Chambersburg.
