Services and Mass of Christian Burial for Juanita C. Ramirez, a resident of Davenport, will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Davenport. Burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery, Davenport. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Monday at Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport, where a prayer service will be offered at 6:30 p.m. Mrs. Ramirez died Friday, Sept. 27, 2002, at Davenport Lutheran Home. Juanita Connie Pacheco was born Jan. 27, 1930, in Galesburg, Ill.. a daughter of Jose and Teodora (Gomez) Pacheco. She married Frank Ramirez on May 15, 1948, in Davenport. He survives her. Juanita retired from the former J.I. Case Company, Bettendorf. She had also worked in earlier years at the Rock Island Arsenal. She was a member of the Eagles Club and LULAC Club. Memorials can be made to the Parkinson's Foundation. Survivors include her husband, Frank Ramirez Sr., Davenport; and children and their spouses and their children and their grandchildren, Henry Ramirez and Diane Spoon, Seneca, S.C., children, Michelle, Marcia, Kathy and Nicole, grandchildren, Maria Ashley, Gabrielle Edwina and Matthew Richard; Frank Ramirez Jr. and Kristi, Davenport, children, Michael, Angela and Kevin, grandchildren, Devon and Justin; Alex Ramirez and Gloria, Davenport, children, Shanna, Mendy and Ashley, grandchildren, Bradley Alexander Marshall and Cassidy Rose Juanita; Stephen J. Ramirez, Davenport, children, Stephen Cory, Kendra and Austin; and Tim Ramirez and Valerie, Alpha, children, Taylor, Timothy and Madison. She has 18 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren included in their individual families. Sisters and a brother-in-law, Dorothy and Robert Gonzales, Davenport; Adelphina Molinero, Galesburg; and a sister-in-law, Wilma Pacheco, Galesburg. Brothers and sisters-in-law, Jacinto and Judy Pacheco, Louis and Carolina Pacheco, Jesse and Diane Pacheco and Joe Pacheco, all of Galesburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Adelphino Pacheco and Manuel Pacheco and grandchildren, Mark and Mario Ramirez. May the rest in peace.
