In spite of what the information in Bessie's bio section is, she isn't the biological daughter of James Edward Richardson but rather his stepdaughter {or possibly she was adopted by him}. Bessie was born in 1908, the daughter of Miss Louella Hay and R T Rhotin (ca 1885– ). Then, on August 25, 1912, Luella was married to James Edward "J E" Richardson in Cheatham County, and the rest of Luella's children are with her husband J E.
