Benjamin Franklin Cox, 81, a resident of Ridgway until a year ago, when he came to East Alton to make his home with a son, Everett, at 105 Main Street, died Friday at 7:50 p.m.
Surviving, in addition to his son, are his widow, Mrs. Ida Mae Cox; six daughters; Mrs. Mamie Essex, East St. Louis; Mrs. Bessie Feuguay, Mrs. Marjorie Walker, Mrs. Edith Snedeker, and Mrs. Ethel Henderson, all of East Alton, and Mrs. Blanche Wilson of Wood River; 13 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren. Two sisters preceded him in death.
