Cecil Katterjohn, 79, of New Albany, a retired school official who was a native of Dubois County, died today in New Albany.
He was a graduate of Huntingburg High School and Indiana University. He played baseball at I.U. and was a 50-year member of the I-Men. He was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity.
He was married twice. Following the death of his first wife, the former Jennie Blemker, he was married to Jean Kelso, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, Dr. James Katterjohn; three sisters, Miss Bertha Katterjohn, Mrs. Anna Jones and Mrs. Katherine Bench; and three grandchildren.
