Patrick, James Arlie James best known as Pap Paw to his grandchildren, and great-grandchildren went home to be with his Lord and Savior this past Memorial Day, May 26, 2014 at age 90.. What an appropriate day for his Homegoing as he loved his country and served proudly during WW I I in the Asiatic Pacific Theater in New Guinea. Jim was honorably discharged from the Army on Feb 23, 1946.
Jim was born November 22, 1923 in Sikeston, Missouri to Alex and Lela Patrick. On April 12, 1944 he was married to Clara Uthoff. They were married thirty-three years before Clara went home to be with the Lord. Terry, Mike, and Pam were their blessings from this marriage union.
James gave his heart to the Lord on July 5, 1952, and lived his life to the fullest for his Savior and was baptized on February 15th, 1953.
Jim was a successful business man and gave of his time and money to help grow churches, and served the Lord in many areas throughout his Christian life.
On July 26, 1980 Jim was blessed again with his marriage to Kathryn Campbell in St. Louis, Missouri and added Van and Jack Campbell, Kathryn's sons, to the family. In Jim's own words he said: "Now I have five children and I'm proud of everyone of them."
Proceeded in death by his parents Alex and Lela Patrick, Clara Patrick, his sister Retha Ousley.
Jim is survived by so many who love and esteem him. Terry Patrick, his wife (Merry Heinrich), son Brandon of Plano, Texas. Terry's daughters Traci (Jason Weber) of
Nashville, TN, Shannon Patrick of Pasadena, TX and Heather Patrick of Wisconsin.
Michael Patrick, his wife Linda (Linda Hastings) of Lawrenceville, GA. Their daughter Ricay Patrick of Aurora, Illinois, and son Matthew Patrick Auburn, GA.
Pam Patrick and daughter Alexis of Pasadena, Tx.
Van Campbell, and his wife Sue. Children: Van, Mary,
William, and Katie of West Palm Beach, Florida.
Jack Campbell and his sons Jacob and Justin of
St. Louis, MO.
Jim has thirteen Great Grandchildren who love and
adore their Pap Paw.
To the many friends I've made over the years I say thank you and I hope I see each of you in heaven.
Services: Funeral Thursday 10:30 am at JOHN L. ZIEGENHEIN & SONS (South County), 4830 Lemay Ferry Rd. (63129), followed by the cemetery committal service at Park Lawn Cemetery. VISITATION WEDNESDAY 7-9 PM
