Twila was the daughter of Tollie & Alvie Carter O'Neal. She married the love of her life Amos Osborne on February 5, 1934 in Indianapolis, Indiana Marion County. To this union was 2 daughters Deborah Elaine Osborne Hoskins & Delaina Kaye Osborne Baker. Twila lost a set of triplets in 1957 & could never have any more children so her & Amos became foster parents & also became foster parents to troubled & Kids. They were Foster Parents to over 100 children. Twila & Amos adopted 2 children Ricky Osborne & Wanda Osborne Couch & had legal custody of a son Jimmy
She worked for & retired from LKLP where she helped many families. She retire in 1998. She was a Kentucky Colonel.
She also became a Auxiliary Member of the Thousandsticks Fire Dept. She worked at the Osborne Brother's Festival in the Food Booth for many years & made sure that everything was in good shape for the Health Dept to come & score them. She would work in the booth fixing food & helping all she could. She even worked while she had cancer because she loved helping people.
She loved her family & wanted to be with them as much as she could. She was a great wife, mother, grand mother & great grand mother. She leaves surviving her daughters Debbie (Phillip) Hoskins, Delaina (Bill) Baker & Wanda (Pat) Couch, her sons Ricky Osborne & Jimmy Osborne & a very special daughter Deloris Eversole., She leaves the following grand children Twynell (Rodney) Stidham, Joyell (Eric) Anderson, William (Miranda) Baker, Chandler Couch & Makendran Couch. Her great grand children Nicholas Baker, Kordell Anderson, Jarod Stidham, Alicyn Anderson, Rileigh Stidham & Gracie Baker. She is also leaves her beloved companion dog Luke & lots of friends including Anna Carol Jones, Vergie Asher, Olga Woods, Sylvia Feltner, her dear Humana Nurse Kelly, she was well taken care of by staff @ Mary Breckenridge ARH, Hazard ARH, the Merkey Cancer Center, Hope Lodge & the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Center.
