Funeral Services were held Monday for Harry Leonard Adams, 79, of Afton, at the Trinity Southern Baptist Church with Rev. John Sherwood officiating.
Mr. Adams died Friday, July 19, at St. John's Hospital in Joplin, Mo.
Born August 7, 1905 at Sedalia, Mo., Mr. Adams had lived in the Afton-Grove area most of his life. He was a carpenter and played in the Home Creek Band.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Adams, of the home; three daughters, Geraldine Chandler and Louetta Ferdig, both of Vinita, and Lillie Isom of Afton; three sons, LeRoy Adams, Grove, John Quincy Adams, and Herbert Leonard Adams, both of Afton; two brothers, Alley Adams, Bedford, Texa, and John Nim Adams, Tulsa; three sisters, Lillie Lewis, Christine Jones, and Muriel Gaines, all of Narcissa, and 20 grandchildren.
Burial will be in Olympus Cemetery, Grove, under the direction of the Worley Funeral Home, Grove.
