Succumbs to Long, Baffling, Illness-
Culdesac, May 22-Mrs. Sherman Peer, who has for many months suffered from an ailment which baffled the best medical talent available, died this afternoon at 1:30.
The funeral will be held in the Culdesac gymnasium tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock, at which time the Knights of Pythias, Odd Fellows and Modern Woodmen of America, of which Mr. Peer is a member, will take part in the services.
The stores in Culdesac will close in respect and the annual picnic of the Culdesac school, scheduled for tomorrow, will be canceled.
Miss Beryl Peer, a daughter of the deceased, is a member of the senior class of the Culdesac High School.
