Bill H. Allen, age 83, of Lebanon, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2014. Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 28, at 11 a.m. from the chapel of Alexander Funeral Home with Reverend Bill Devasher officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery with Brent Allen, Matt Allen, Ben Grant, Clint Jackson, Andy Barry, Jim Bowman, and Randy Darnell serving as pallbearer. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 27 from 4-8 pm and Wednesday, May 28 from 10 a.m. until time of service. Mr. Allen was born August 27, 1930 in Simpson Co., KY to the late Corley V. and Stella Wood Allen. . He is also preceded in death by his wife, Carol Dorris Allen . Mr. Allen is survived by his sons, Cuck Allen (Sherran) of Castalian Springs and John Allen (Walton) of Memphis, daughters Claudia Hensley of Goodlettsville, and Tracy Bowman (Jim) of Hendersonville, sister Mag Meador of Indianapolis IN, ten grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
