Pinkin Funderburk, 88, died Tuesday, June 22, 1993, after a long illness. Born in Sulphur Springs on February 23, 1905. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Lawrence Jones, a Dallas general contractor. She had been active in John F. Peeler Elementary PTA, Marine Mothers Club, and Calvary Baptist Church. She is survived by two sone, Harold W. JOnes, Dallas and Billy Paul Jones, Phoenix, AZ; one sister Irby Harrington, Sulphur Springs; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be held Thursday June 24 1993 at 4:00 P.M LaurelLand Memorial Chapel with Rev. David Kuykendall officiating. Interment Laurel Land Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Stephen Jones, David Funderburk, Joe Springer, David Jones, Mark Jones and Lynwood Fox.
