Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Sharp, 95, were held Monday afternoon at the Kastler-Babcock Funeral Home. Rev. Donald L. Forbes, pastor of the United Methodist Church, officiated and burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Sharp died Saturday morning at the Rotary Ann Home where she had been a patient for a year. She had been in failing health for some time and previously resided for a time in a Webster City nursing home.
She is survived by two sons, Elvin of Boone; Floyd of Minneapolis, Minn.; four daughters, Mrs. Herschel Flummerfelt [Flumerfelt] of Eagle Grove; Mrs. Clint Horlacher of Storm Lake; Mrs. E. A. Dudine [Budine] of Kansas City, Mo.; and Mrs. Lois Stone [Sloan] of Sioux City. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.

She was educated in Shelby County.
She married George Sharp of Council Bluffs on July 3, 1898 at Council Bluffs. The couple farmed in Shelby and Monona Counties before moving to Eagle Grove where Mr. Sharp was employed by the Chicago and Northwestern R.R. in 1905.
Mr. Sharp died in 1950.
Mrs. Sharp entered a nursing home in Webster City for a time before coming to live at the Rotary Ann Home in January 1973. She died there on March 2 at the age of 95 years, 10 months and 17 days.
She is survived by two sons, George E. Sharp, Boone; and Floyd R. Sharp, Minneapolis, Minn.; four daughters, Mrs. Evelyn (Herschel) Flummerfelt [Flumerfelt], Eagle Grove; Mrs. Mildred (Clint) Horlacher, Storm Lake; Mrs. Doris (E. A.) Budine, Kansas City, Mo. and Mrs. Lois Sloan, Sioux City; nine grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Sharp was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Rebekahs and the Grand International Auxiliary of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers for 50 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three sisters and eight brothers.
