FUNERAL SERIVCES HELD FOR MRS. W.E. FENDALL

FENDALL, Sept. 9 – Funeral services were held Tuesday September 7, for Mrs. W.E. Fendall of Portland at Willamina with burial at the Upper Willamina cemetery.

Mrs. Fendall died September 3 at a Portland hospital at the age of 79 years. She was brought across the plains by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Peter Campbell, when a child of six months and had spent the early part of her life near Sheridan and Willamina, later moving to Alsea then to Portland.

Besides her husband she leaves three daughters, Mrs. Florence Taylor of Alsea, Mrs. Louella Wilson of Nortons, Mrs. Dorothy Hamar of Nashville, Ore, and three sons, D.C. Fendall of Corvallis, Fred and Arthur of Portland; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
