Bessie married Claude Shelton Fendall (1882-1919) on August 14, 1906 in Gopher Valley, Sheridan, Oregon.

To this union, they produced one daughter:

Bessie Frandrick Fendall (1909-2004) who married Kenneth McKee (1898-1983).

AUTO ACCIDENT FATAL TO FORMER RESIDENT

Bessie Isabelle Fendall of Salem was fatally injured in an auto accident near Canby last week, and died Saturday at Canby. She was 59 years of age.

Born in Gopher Valley, she had lived all her life around Sheridan and Willamina except for five years in McMinnville and three years in Salem.

Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Bessie Fandrick, Grand Ronde, and a brother, W.S. Evans of McMinnville.

Funeral services were held today (Thursday) at Macy chapel, conducted by the Rev. C.L. Dark, with burial in the upper Willamina cemetery.

Mrs. Fendall was a member of the Christian church and of the Maccabees.
