Frances Ruth Pulliam, 82, of Poplar Bluff, MO, passed away Saturday, May 17, 2014, at her family residence.
Mrs. Pulliam was born July 4, 1931 in Milan, MO, to the late Lindley and Zelphia Morley Baldridge.
On September 4, 1956, she married Frank Pulliam in Kirksville, MO. He preceded her in death on February 5, 1993.
Mrs. Pulliam was a member of First United Methodist Church, and a retired 1st and 2nd grade teacher. She had taught in Iowa, Arkansas and Missouri. She was a member of Alpha Delta Kappa Teachers Sorority, Women's Citizenship Club in Poplar Bluff, Retired Teacher's Association, and Wesleyan Circle at the church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, watching sports, reading and doing puzzles.
Survivors include her children; John Pulliam of St. Louis, Mo, and Lee Sparks (Dewey) of Poplar Bluff; four grandchildren: Michael, Melinda, Gabrielle, and Garrett; three great grandchildren; a brother, John Baldridge and a sister, Marylee Tucker, both of Milan, MO.
Her brothers, Bill and Jim Baldridge, also preceded her in death.
Funeral Services were held Monday, May 19 at the Cotrell Funeral Chapel with interment at the Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Poplar Bluff.
