James W. Butcher, 64, of Paris, IL, died at 3:10 AM Thursday, Feb. 4, 1993, in Paris Community Hospital. Born Nov. 4, 1928, at Double Springs, AL, he was married to Norma Cox on Sept. 25, 1963, in Clarksville, IN; she survives.
Mr. Butcher retired after 37 years with Velsicol Corp. in Marshall, IL. He was a member of the Oil, Chemical and Atomic Workers Union.
Also surviving are a son, Donald Butcher of Fairfield, CA; a daughter, Donna (Mrs. Richard) Groeber of Lafayette, IN; and two brothers, Lee Butcher of Daytona Beach, FL, and Robert Butcher of Peoria, IL.
