FRANKLIN.--Mr. Noah Franklin died April 23d, 1860, aged 93 years. He was born in New Hampshire in 1767. He lived in Allegany County fifty-four years. At the age of 60 he was converted, and was long a member at Houghton Creek Methodist Episcopal Church. He still maintained his religion amid the infirmities of extreme old age. He often conversed about the Savior, desirious to go, but willing to stay his alloted time.
