THREE OAKS Russell W. Annable, 86, 207 E. Michigan St., Three Oaks, died Tuesday at Berrien General Hospital, Berrien Center.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Connelly-Noble Funeral Home, Three Oaks, where friends may call Friday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Three Oaks. Memorials may be made to the Woodland Shores Baptist Church, Bridgman, of which he was a member; Chicago Sunday Evening Club; or the Three Oaks Emergency Vehicle Association.

Mr. Annable was born Dec. 14, 1902, in Laporte, Ind. He was a retired bookkeeper from Hunerjager Department Store; and also had been employed by Warren Feather-bone Company and Union Pier Lumber. He was involved with the children's Awana program at Woodland Shores Baptist Church; was a former member of the Men's Forum, Three Oaks; and a former Sunday School Superintendent for many years at Three Oaks Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Pearlie Zerby, Nov. 13, 1978." From The Herald-Palladium, April 26, 1989, page 13
