Ryegate, VT- Kenneth Edmund "John" Gray, 88, of Stone Road, died unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. John was born in Ryegate on August 29, 1925, to Wallace and Vira (Thurston) Gray. On September 8, 1951, he married Lona L. Gandin. John was a dairy farmer on Blue Mountain his entire life, retiring in 2000. He thoroughly enjoyed being on the farm with his cattle and his dogs and cats. He was predeceased by his sister, Iona Page; twin brother, Kendall Gray; two other brothers, Raymond and George Gray; and a grandson, Nicholas John Bogie on March 31, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lona Gandin Gray; three daughters, Kathie Crown and husband Harry of McIndoe Falls, VT, Colleen Dennis and husband Gary of Ryegate, and Patrice Bogie and husband "Chief" also of Ryegate; ten grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
