Juddie Clair "Mama Judd" Frazier Duplechin, age 71, a native of Oil City, Louisiana and a resident of Ragley, Louisiana died on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at her residence. She was Catholic by faith. She loved to decorate, canning and cooking. Some of her specialties were chicken and dumplings and homemade biscuits. She loved planting flowers and always had a "green thumb". She was very strong willed and the "mother hen" to her family. She worked as a blackjack dealer at the Coushatta Casino until her retirement in 2005.

She was the daughter of the late Frank Frazier and the late Joy Callens Frazier.

She is survived by her husband of forty-one years, Wilson J. Duplechin, two daughters, Terri Bourque and husband, James of Boston, MA and Ginger Pierce of Ragley, Louisiana. She is also survived by one brother, Clifford Frazier and wife, Dorothy of Spring, Texas and one sister, Merry Joy Watts of Montgomery, AL, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Frazier and Joy Callens Frazier, one son, Larry Duplechin, one daughter, Barbara Ardoin, two brothers, Bud Frazier and Edwin Frazier, five sisters, Eula Ann Demis, Sonia McGinty, Shirley Graham, Bonnie Russell and Ramona Frazier.

The family will receive friends Friday, May 23, 2014 beginning at 10:00 A.M. at Christensen Funeral Home, DeQuincy, La. Services will begin at the Duplechin Family Cemetery immediately following procession.
