Charles E. Aumen, 67, Hanover, died Saturday morning at 11:20 o'clock after an illness which started last April. Mr. Aumen was the son of Edward and Sarah Riffle Aumen. Surviving is his wife, two sons, Paul E. Aumen, and Ralph W. Aumen, all of Hanover; five grandchildren and one step-sister, Mrs. Charles Weaver, McSherrystown. He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran church. He was affiliated with the Royal Order of Moose and of the Friendship Fire Company, Pennville, of which he was a former trustee. Mr. Aumen was a cigar-maker for 50 years, retiring last March.

Funeral from his late residence Tuesday morning at 11:30 o'clock, the Rev. Dr. Harry H. Beidleman, pastor of St. Matthew's Lutheran church, officiating. Internment in Mt. Olivet cemetery, Hanover. Friends may call at his late residence this evening.
