He was born Feb. 10, 1952, in McKeesport.
He was a 1972 graduate of Norwin High School.
Mr. Ball was a craneman at U.S. Steel, Duquesne.
He enjoyed remote control boats and cars.
Survivors include a son, Jonathan D. Ball of Florida; and a sister, Marcia A. Dee of Washington Township.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leland B. and Nancy McQuade Ball.
